Every day a window pops up and asks if I want to update to the latest version. It doesn't matter that I updated yesterday. How can I stop it from automatically checking for upgrades or automatically notifying me?

It sounds like the update is failing to complete, which is why you are being prompted to run it again. Please follow these steps:

1. Uninstall the current GoToMyPC Host software from your computer by clicking Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > GoToMyPC > Uninstall

2. Log into your GoToMyPC account and click Options next to the nickname for your Host computer, select Remove

3. Click Install GoToMyPC or Add this Computer, whichever is displayed.

4. Install GoToMyPC, re-register you Host computer, you can use the same nickname and Access Code you used previously.

Excuse me, but I cannot find how to "re-register". Things seems to sort of work without "re-registering" which I don't know how to do anyway.

Hi, if you followed the steps listed above, after downloading and installing the software again it should ask you to create a nickname and enter your account information. That is registering the software to your account.
